My name is Kathryn, and I'm a fifteen-year old girl from the U.S.A. I really dislike trying to define myself in a few words, but I'll try. By "try", I mean list a bunch of random facts about me in no particular order and hope they'll suffice.
1) I'm known by most people as the shy, sweet, quiet girl who always has her head in a book or a writing utensil in hand. Reading, music and writing are pretty much my life. 2) I love exploring new places and ideas, and I'm always seeking to learn something new. 3) I really like talking to people about philosophy and their opinions on things like that because it's awesome to get different perspectives. 4) Human nature is something I don't pretend to understand, but it fascinates me, and I'll never stop trying to understand. 5) The mainstream media annoys me immensely as well as the mindless people who are slaves to it, and I will never let the social norm tell me how to live my life. Individuality is too precious to waste, even if it is to fit in. 6) Oh, and I'm a total Harry Potter nerd! Proud of it, too.
The Harry Potter series is amazing and is what got me to love reading. Anyway, I'm looking for a pen pal (any gender/ age) that is interested in writing and being friends. I'm looking to have a real friendship (one where we can talk about anything like how our day went, cool books we read, what we're doing for Christmas, ect.), not where the other person writes a few letters and then just stops.
